Poly flights are made of a stiff polyester plastic that holds its shape. The layers are permanently heat sealed together during manufacturing. When hit, poly flights do not flex like soft flights, but do tend to "pop off" the shaft when hitting another dart. This is desirable as it reduces deflection and allows tight groups. Manufacturers do not specify flight thickness, but are generally below 100 microns.
